•Information about my Family Web Site

This is Cynthia Renee Eye-Taylor Paternal line with the main focus being the many descendants of Christopher S. Eye who Married Catherine Anne Zorn. But in time after more research I will be including the line of Yewell Aubrey Taylors descendants will it becomes available.

This website is constructed as a series of family files. On this page are links to our four parental lines of our research, Taylor, Eye, & Taylor, Martin.

In their turn they will lead you to other branches of their individual families. Although the main lines are reasonably complete, you may find that some links to family branches have not yet been completed, or even attempted, but they will appear as my time allows.

There are some slight complications on my Grandmother Geneva Streckfuss -Eye side of the family as there is not as much information on the Streckfuss as I wish there was, but I do have family who is willing to help me update as soon as possible. And the same with my Great Grandmother Ethel Lona Martin.

•Information on how the site was created

This web site is the result of many years of research and the contributions of many "cousins" who have been more than willing to share their family information. If they had not been so generous, this site would not be what it is today. So a very special thank you to all who has and are helping me today.

•What is Genealogy?

"Genealogy is the study and tracing of family pedigrees. This involves collecting the names of relatives, both living and deceased, and establishing the relationships between them based on primary, secondary and/or circumstantial evidence or documentation, thus building up a cohesive family tree. Genealogy is sometimes also referred to as family history,

•What can you do to help with the website?

I am always looking for pictures, news articules, marriage, birth, death, any and all legal documentations to put with our family members. • Will there be a new book released?

All the information listed is supposed to be correct. However, I feel sure there are some mistakes. The information obtained mostly from courthouse records, cemetery markers, genealogy websites and most importantly from family members. In some cases, contradictions appeared. If THE READER finds errors, or knows where family members have been omitted, please contact the complier at the following address with the correct information.
